Art Class:

This term my favorite thing to learn more about has been watercolor. A few other students from Paloma and I have been taking a watercolor class with Jennifer Martin. In this class we have learned the basics of watercolor but also more specifically how to use watercolors to create light, depth, etc. So far we have experimented with painting landscapes, people, animals, and much more. I love to learn new styles of art and doing more watercolor has been especially fun and very rewarding. 

Prek-Kinder assisting:

Another highlight of this term has been my work assisting with the Prek-Kinder class here at The Paloma School. It has been such an enjoyable experience getting to know each of the kids, and the time that I have spent working with them has really pushed me to improve my Spanish skills. It is also a great opportunity to get a look inside what a classroom setting would be like if I were to pursue a teaching career.
